Shermans in Canadian Service: North-West Europe, December 1944

The American M4 series of Medium tanks equipped Canadian armoured units in both North-West Europe and the Mediterannean theatres of operation. The M4 was widely known in British and Canadian service as the "Sherman". The following table is but a small portion of Sherman tank totals in British/Canadian service researched by Peter Brown of the United Kingdom. Viewers who would like to see the tables in their entirety should visit Francis Liew's Tracks & Armour page. STEEL CHARIOTS is indebted to Peter for permission to use these Canadian totals.
