Elephant ivory with carved and engraved decoration
Each of the four medallions has its own decoration: two facing lions beneath a tree, each with a fore-paw placed on a bovine; two antilopes back to back, attacked by dogs; a horsebacked hunter with a falcon; and finally, a lute player and a drinker.
