From there the group proceeds to Marshal Tito's HQ at Drvar, where Col Neveleff confers with Tito and spends several days laying groundwork for evacuation of downed Fifteenth AF airmen in Yugoslav hands. Also, much information is gathered regarding military organization and political trend of the partisan movement. The mission returns to Italy on 2 May. 122 men, mostly Fifteenth AF airmen, are also evacuated.
