Flemish Militia on the Leugemeete Frescos

14th century frescos of the militia of Ghent in the Godshuis St Jan-St Paulus (Hospice St John-St Paul) or Leugemeete were discovered under white-wash in 1846 & 1861. They were demolished in 1911. Only drawings and reconstructions survive.
